Cartooning, Anime and Character Design 4 Kids
Are you a fan of cartoons and anime? Together we’ll examine how cartoon characters are constructed and designed. Using basic shapes and guidelines, you will see your cartoon images quickly emerge from the page with each stroke of the pencil or stylus. You will explore how to give drawings personalities and character through classic cartooning techniques to breathe life into your creations. This is an introductory experience, beginners are welcome.
Goals and Learning Objectives
- Gain confidence to create and edit your artwork
- Get experience designing characters from scratch
- Have fun and work with your friends on creative projects
- Learn to combine both traditional art and digital art together
- Learn to translate imagination to realization on paper
- Review various art tools and use them to create exciting art projects

Minimum Requirements:
- iPad Pro (12.9-in., 11-in., and 10.5-in. models) or
- iPad (6th Generation, 2018) or
- iPad Mini 4
