Digital Arts 4 Kids: Drawing, Illustration & Painting
The Digital Arts 4 Kids program is designed for anyone with an interest in art and provides an outlet to create projects with digital tools. In this program, we will build unique art projects that utilize digital apps that lets everyone express their creativity. Participants will engage with live instructors who will inspire them to create fun and exciting art projects using art apps. No prior experience necessary, all skill levels welcome.
Goals and Learning Objectives
- Experience building digital art from scratch
- Have fun and work with your friends on creative projects
- Learn to capture non-digital art projects and edit them on a tablet
- Learn to work on digital painting and illustration with inspiring prompts
- Review of digital art tools designed for kids
- Use technology to create fun and inspiring art projects
Hardware
Primary Computer Device:
- iPad Pro
- or iPad 6th Generation or higher
- or iPad Mini 4 or higher
Additional Required Tech and Materials:
- Headphones
- Microphone
- Web Camera
- Compatible Stylus (such as Apple Pencil)
- Traditional Pencil and Paper
Software
- Procreate App (cost: $10/ per iPad)
