Game Design with Unity

This program focuses on providing an introduction to designing and creating game experiences with Unity, a state-of-the-art game engine used in creating many modern day video games. Participants will be provided hands-on experience working within the Unity game engine’s IDE and be provided templates to build game levels. Instructors will provide activities focusing on the key aspects of the Unity development environment and show examples of how the game engine can be used to build large-scale 3D worlds. Participants will select from a menu of game genres, and engine templates, and customize a game level based on the template. By the end of the program, participants will have designed, built, tested and exported a working prototype of their creation.
