Web Development & Graphic Design
Learn the fundamentals of web design and create your very own website using WIX. The focus of this program is on WYSIWYG webpage development, embedding videos & images, and an overview of basic HTML. Our subject matter expert will provide design and development instruction for beginner and intermediate participants. Individuals with prior experience can jump right in and start working on their projects. For beginners, no experience is necessary since you will be guided step-by-step through the creative process. Some computer experience is helpful.
Goals and Learning Objectives
- Be able to create unique graphics based on your own designs
- Focus on adding new pages, edit content, testing and publishing the website
- Learn the WIX IDE
- Learn to embed graphics, videos and links into WIX-based webpages
- Learning about HTML and how to edit basic code
- Learn how to build websites with columns and tables
