Morning Focus
Digital Video: Recording and Editing
Our digital video program is designed for participants who want to learn how to create and edit video content for the internet. During this program you will direct, act in, edit and produce recorded and streamed videos appropriate for sharing on YouTube and Twitch. You will be provided hands-on experience by our expert instructors with sophisticated video editing and streaming software. By the end of the program, participants will have created a series of videos and/or streams, which they can share with others as we work through the program.
Afternoon Focus
Game Design with RPG Maker
Are you ready to bring your own role-playing games to life? Learn the ins-and-outs of how RPG games are designed and produced from top to bottom. Through informational activities, tutorials and hands-on experience in our game lab, participants will learn how to develop and implement an RPG game with narratives, dialog, puzzles, and battles in a large gaming world. This program is designed for participants who love games like Minecraft, Dungeons & Dragons, Pokémon, Kingdom Hearts & Final Fantasy and who want to build their own gaming adventures. Some computer familiarity is helpful, all skill levels are welcome.
